Our mini vacation was made so much better just by staying at Katie's property. I would come visit Lake Orion just for her cottage on the lake again. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, so many ameneities thoughtfully placed in and around the home.. this is exactly what "home away from home" should feel like. Katie's an incredibly responsive and accommodating host and I am thankful for her hospitality. Thank you Katie, you were awesome!

This is a humble little house from the front, but once inside, you will find a lovely, inviting space that is perfect for a family getaway to take in views of the lake, sit by the fire and roast marshmallows, relax in the hot tub, grill on the grill, and essentially, just hang out. This house comfortably accomodated up to eight of us with a toddler and a dog, too. Everyone loved the view of the lake and watching the geese with their goslings and also the beautiful swan that graced us at times with its presence. We had everything we needed and then some, as Katie furnished us with treats, including a Smores kit, which was a real hit. There were lots of toys and books for the little one and plently for the adults to do, too. The kitchen is a bit small, but there is good storage in it, and Katie made sure it was very well stocked. We made multiple full meals for all to enjoy. The deck with its very nice grill and plenty of seating was also perfect for enjoying meals outside.

We loved staying at this Airbnb! Katie was incredibly accommodating, especially since we made very last-minute arrangements to stay in the area. The home was very clean, very nice, and had a beautiful view of the lake. It was wonderful to have such a peaceful place to stay, and it was conveniently close to many restaurants and grocery stores as well.

Beautiful farmhouse with lots of charm! Our group of 8 were very comfortable here. Neighborhood is very quiet and serene. Fire pit was also a nice touch. Host was also very kind and responsive! Would definitely stay again :)

Katie was great. It was great being on the lake and having access to the hot tub. it was only about a mile walk from downtown Lake Orion and the grocery store was within 0.5 miles. Appreciate the selection of board games and puzzles (with no missing pieces as well)!

Very clean and comfortable place. The space was warm and well maintained, and everything worked smoothly during the stay. Check-in and check-out were simple, and communication was clear. Would stay again.

Katie’s place was wonderful!! The house and property was so beautiful. Our favorite part of the stay was the hotub that looks out to the lake. This stay would’ve been even better if it was during the summer!! Our favorite part of the house was the living room due to the view!!! Katie was so responsive and gave us some wonderful recommendations. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed at Katie's home while visiting family in the area. The house was so beautiful and immaculate! It fit our family size perfectly and allowed many of our family members to come together from different cities and all stay together. We enjoyed being able to have a home large enough to accommodate all of us so we could have fun visiting in the evenings and early mornings during our times outside of the planned activities over the weekend. Katie anticipated all of our needs, had the nicest welcome basket of goodies for us to greet us, and was so flexible to work with. We will definitely plan to stay there again when we come back again to visit our extended family in the area! Would highly recommend this property and Katie!

I grew up in Lake Orion and Rochester, and I brought my son up for his first visit to Michigan. I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay, especially considering the price and location. The view and water access are fantastic, and everything I wanted to do was within about a 20-minute drive. It’s very close to two of my favorite spots (Mannies and Eva’s) and only 20 minutes from downtown Rochester. The house was quiet and very clean. Don’t overthink it, just book it. The reviews speak for themselves. I would absolutely stay here again
